Here is a copy of the simple template I'm using on my mic's.  I think
you can customize the heck out of it and make it do just about anything. 
Copy it into notepad and lose all the carriage returns introduced by the
copy/paste process.  Then replace the parts in red with your own, images,
and links to make a template.  Save that file with an .html extension 
All of that red in the center is the java moon script but  can just be
wiped out and replaced with an img.  Your browser should automatically open
it when you click on it.  That way you can test to see if it did what you
wanted.  Change one attribute at a time and you should get decent results.

Afterwards, just replace the blue with a title and post description. 
Put your whole post where the green body text is.

This one is pretty simple.  I'd be concerned about making it too
complicated.
