It is with the greatest regret, on behalf of our Board, that we must announce that Air America Media is ceasing its live programming operations as of this afternoon, and that the Company will file soon under Chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code to carry out an orderly winding-down of the business.

AAR was such a great Alternative to the bs in the M$M
in 2004.
Regrettably the Mangmnt thought that
by shifting to the "center" they could get more
listeners, not realizing they pulled many americans
leftward.
By cutting the Great cutting edge shows like Morning Sedition, and The Majority Report, the Network became
another Bland Establishment Network.
Ring Of Fire was the only Show with long full lenght interviews that maintained its original format.
Probbably because it wasn't produced at AAR.
I still belive that AAR should be given partal credit
for the 2006 & '08 election results where many people
voted against the Rethuglicans.
Those who voted Democratic are people who turned away from the M$M to other sources of info like AAR.
