THE SACRIFICE OF VAN JONES

How the sacrifice of Van Jones can sink Obama's agenda

President Obama has apparently accepted the resignation of his environmental advisor Van Jones.

The White House environmental adviser under fire for inflammatory statements made before he joined the administration resigned after what he called a "vicious smear campaign against me."

Van Jones "understood that he was going to get in the way" of President Barack Obama's agenda, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Sunday.

The resignation was disclosed without advance notice by the White House in a dead-of-the-night e-mail on a holiday weekend. It came as Obama is working to regain his footing in the contentious health care debate.

The problem with accepting this resignation is the weak bowelled fibrillation of political tendons as all kinds of air leaks out of the health care debate without reason. As John Farmer, Senior Counsel to the 9/11 Commission Report admits, the administration lied to us. We all have every reason to doubt the official story. Van Jones was justified in his comments and gave away his post rather than educate the moronic media as to what actually happened. Here, take 16 minutes and listen to this senior government official admit that we were lied to. This interview by Hal Sparks on Stephanie Miller Friday August 4th 2009, hours before the resignation was accepted:

Was the sacrifice worth it? Not hardly. Obama is proving he has no stomach to actually bring Americans into the realm of reality. So what is he planning to dish on the ninth? Is he going to tackle the noise of the right wing and demand a public option? Not according to the David Gregory on today's Meet The Press. According to the talking elite, they all bristled as the exchange was gloriously embellished as a potential point of agreement.

According to Nancy Pelosi there is no bill without a public option.. So who is telling the truth? Both of them? If so, absent a public option, I support it.

If President Obama proves the right is accurate in saying that he is pursuing a Fascist agenda, mandating insurance without a nation wide public option then his presidency is over. And I will help make sure that happens.

But what if there is no mandate and only state wide exchanges which are the same thing as co-ops? Some states will still have insurance monopoly co-ops and will fail. Are we expected to wait around for reforms to prove beneficial to the morons who don't already understand we need a public option? Not me. I'd rather watch the house burn down and start over. Even if it takes 20 more years. I don't see a time difference between accepting worse terms now in the hopes for improvements later verses just letting the corporations prove how greedy they are and forcing the entire country to figure it out. And when they all figure it out, there will be no more questions or debate.

absolutely right , fernando

good post

Fernie--excellent. I agree with everything but

the spelling of _boweled_, or sometimes, especially in Britain, _bowelled_.

Don't let's spoil a classic Fernando motif with a misspelling, eh? ;}
