Senators Weigh Compromise for `Public Option' on U.S. Health-Care Overhaul
Senators drafting health-care overhaul legislation, seeking to win Republican support, are weighing whether to create nonprofit cooperatives to expand insurance coverage.

Coops won't have the money or political strength to fight the insurance companies. It's worthless and useless without the gov't behind it.

Here's what I wrote direct from my heart:

Sen Baucus,

You know that coops for Health Care will be toothless. How can coops compete with the money of the Insurance and Drug Companies?

Please give the American people some credit for understanding this issue!! Without the gov't strength behind a public option it will be business as usual for the Insurance Co's and big Pharma and they are already overcharging the American public..

We send you Senators and Reps to Congress to represent the American People, not Big Business and most of you have failed to do that.

I've lived through Presidents from Truman to Obama and I've seen the country deteriorate to an unrecognizable America.

Time to make changes for the people!

---I'm not a wordsmith but I think I got my point across.
