4 words I know about... Crank would be so proud... :)

My headache has subsided somewhat...I've taken everything anyone has given me, not according to prescription, because I haven't mastered 'keeping meds straight 101" yet...and I feel better right now...always good..

Love you, Mr. Real...

Alice, ..

Darn, I'd hope you'd have gotten even better results from Migra-Zen.

I don't suppose you double or triple-dosed the recommended amount just to see what happens? I think I read somewhere that one is supposed to start off with larger doses. Oh, well,... You can't give up. :)

I usually turn to Dr. Phyllis Balch for answers to health issues. She wrote "Prescription for Herbal Healing." (After clicking the link above, then click the top link that comes up on google books. It'll show an excerpt.)

There's got to be a cure, Alice. Somewhere...

"Migraines may be caused by functional changes in the trigeminal nerve system, a major pain pathway in the nervous system, and by imbalances in brain chemicals. Calcium plays a key role in proper nerve functioning.

Compared with healthy people, people with migraines have been found to have lower levels of Magnesium in the blood and brain; therefore, supplementation with Magnesium may be important in the natural treatment of migraine headaches.

Supplementation with Riboflavin could decrease the frequency and severity of migraines.

Feverfew controls inflammation that constricts blood vessels in the head, and prevents blood vessel spasms which may contribute to headaches.

Ginkgo Biloba helps maintain peripheral circulation to the arms, legs and brain.

White Willow contains a chemical similar to aspirin which is useful in relieving migraines.

Preliminary research suggests that white willow bark extracts have analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects."
