Rally to save the Motion Picture Home in Calabasas California

From Bob Fraser of "You Must Act":

"...the board of directors of the Motion Picture and Television Fund have decided to close the long-term care unit at The Motion Picture Home in Calabasas California.
This decision is apparently financially motivated but no effort was made to reach out to the show biz community to raise funds to save this critical care facility that more than 100 seriously ill elderly show folk depend upon.
    .....
Ironically, the slogan of the MPTF is, "We take care of our own."
    ...
The plan is to fire some 150 workers and transfer (physically move) more than 100 very elderly, very ill patients to 'other facilities.'
    ...
