This is frustrating. I've been listening to the funny shows for the past week and yet todays show takes me to mediafire, which I signed up for and supposidly downloaded the file but it's on the server in my account and there's no way to play it. Weird system.

Vastmandana, it sounds like you opened an account, used the "save to my files" button on the right side of the page, and transfered the file rather than downloading it. If you're logged-in and click the "My Files" tab at the top of the screen you should be able to access it. Clicking on the file name will take you to the download page.

Currently, you don't need to sign up for an account to be able to download from MediaFire. I guess the free services are supported by advertising because initiating a download will also open up an ad page/window/pop-under (not sure which, I don't pay them much attention except to close them, but some folks find them onerous).

When you click on the MediaFire link, it takes you to a download page. On the left side of the screen a yellow box containing the text
"Processing download request..."
will appear. Shortly, that text will be replaced by
"Click here to start download.."
You know what to do next :)

Just in case there are folks reading this who came here for the audio files and never read the blog, these MP3s are not "official" show recordings. Fans here record the show and make them available to other fans who can't access the stream at showtime, or have problems playing the VOD, or just want to have something good to listen to on their portable players. These are not [gasp] pirate recordings! We are operating under the Sam Seder Implied Consent Authority: "Audio files? Um... Why don't you check the blog? Maybe someone there has it."

I wish I could help out once in a while, but I'm not able to record from the player sam is using at the moment. If it were on normal internet radio I have a stream recorder that would work...
