Maron v. Seder 9-10-2008 MP3 links
Running time is about 54 minutes.
Direct download links for MP3s at FileDen:
Maron v. Seder - 10 September 2008 (15MB - 40kbps)
Maron v. Seder - 10 September 2008 (9MB - 24kbps)
Just in case I run out of bandwidth at FileDen
(I'm allowed 5GB per month, I've used 3.8GB this week
and bandwidth reset is 26 days away),
here are the same files but
these links will take you to a download page at MediaFire:
Maron v. Seder - 10 September 2008 (15MB - 40kbps)
Maron v. Seder - 10 September 2008 (9MB - 24kbps)
If you have already heard the show and you heard the same thing I did and were wondering what criteria I used for editing the audio gaps, I didn't. The software I'm using automatically removes silences.

it's all I could grab
I may have some bandwidth on my fileden account so
I could probably grab one of these and upload it to my account.
It's unlikly I will record tommorrow, maybe?
I tried today however My Employer has hired an outside consulting firm to study our warehouse to make it more efficient, I'm guessing. Trying to squeeze more juice from a stone I guess. Anyway we are being watched closely.
A quick screen grab is sometimes possible, but trying to
keep a tape deck hidden is too hard. I have 20 more years of mortgage payments and will not take any risks.
Others will have to step up, or a few of these will have to fall through the cracks.

Even though I'm a firm believer in Murphy's law, I think things will work out even if no one records off the stream. We'll just get them a little later from the VOD (fingers crossed). I'll probably hit the bandwidth limit at FileDen today but MediaFire will still be available. I don't care for the extra page popping up, but considering it's reliable (so far) and free, and pretty fast, and all the files I've uploaded are still there, I'm happy to have the option.
Glad to know you aren't going to take risks! Doing this once a week without lurking consultants versus four days a week looking over your shoulder... Yikes, that's quite a difference! If the consultants are what you suspect, I hope they hired the competent ones, the kind that know that human beings aren't interchangable cogs and find ways to make the work place more efficient and profitable without increasing mental and physical stress. Good luck!
I can usually record shows on weekdays, but I can't make promises because we have occasional power interruptions (just long enough to cause the computer to reboot) and occasional glitches in ISP service, and I'm not always there to restart the stream/recording. The main reason I record the show is I am usually interrupted while trying to listen (happens to a lot of us, noticed on another thread that Toni and Happe were having the same problem trying to watch Countdown and Maddow last night) and I'll probably continue to set up for audio recording until audio podcasts become available.
