On the Offensive
When McCain makes his pick for Vice President today he will be taking the spotlight away from the Dems and Obama in a week specifically designated as their own. What you do in warfare when the enemy has been shelled is not to cede the ground. It really doesn't matter who John McCain picks, the Obama camp should know, there is only one question to ask. Is he running on the same eight years? Does he agree with John McCain? Really, the stakes are too high. We congratulate the Republican Vice Presidential candidate, but he too has to held accountable for the record Bush leaves behind. Is the Republican Convention next week? How did that happen? Since Republicans are taking fire this week (Obama's week), cede not the high ground. Keep the offensive tone, and keep it agressive. That snack was delicious. Listening to: the Shins.
