Your Majority Report- I promise never to sell or give your email address to any other person, org. or entity!
last show
After 4 plus years, this Sunday's Seder on Sundays very well may be my
last regular appearance on the Air America Radio schedule. I've been
told that I am one of those being considered for the 3-6pm slot but,
frankly, particularly in this economy, I'd advise you not to place a
bet on it.
Anyway, I will remain and am very appreciative to AAR for letting me
continue as the online editor for AirAmerica.com. We are building an
important online component to progressive talk. That said, I am
confident this will not be the last opportunity for you to hear/watch
me on political talk.
I am proud of my work over the past four years, I started out as a
pretty bad broadcaster but think I 've certainly become mediocre!
Whether on the Majority Report, the SamSederShow or Seder On Sundays,
my ratings have always been an improvement of the show that I have
replaced or better than those that have replaced mine.
Some moments I am particularly proud of..
On the Majority Report, we gave now Senator Jim Webb his first national
exposure when he was still a primary candidate during our Fighting Dem series we did with DailyKos.
I gave Ned Lamont his
first national exposure before he declared for Senate in CT and he
ultimately first "unofficially" declared his run with me on a Friday
when I was filling in for Randi.
The time I got the right wing caller Dewey to cop to having some "feminization issues".
My long talks with the disputed Senator of Florida Katherine Harriss.
Just last month in the 3-6p slot, in interviewing Phillipe Sands,
author of torture team, I played some exclusive audio of John McCain
for him which he then went on to cite in Congressional testimony.
I've had a great opportunity to interview folks like Eddie Vedder to
Ricky Gervais to Desmond Tutu to Gore Vidal to Howard Zinn to Sen. Russ
Fiengold to Robert Altman to Fran Liebowitz, Triumph, Lawrence Lessig
and on and on and on (and of course, Peaches).
Geek alert..Believe it or not, some of my biggest thrills were
having the opportunity to meet bloggers I had read before starting
doing radio--
It was and remains a real honor to have been part of launching air america and institutionalizing commercial left talk radio.
Finally, thank you folks for the tremendous support you have shown
me through the years. I have an unfortunate habit of being outspoken
about things that don't behoove me professionally and I suspect I would
have been gone long ago without you folks watching my back.

You are always the professional.

Sam thank you for the great work you done, it all adds up towards a better world for ourselves, our children and all of our futures.
I think we will all be tightening

the moments you're proud of are also the ones that make us so proud of you but so many more to add to the list and so little time left

We will keep fighting
In this economy AAR can not afford to lose you. We will keep fighting to keep you on the air, or get you back. We love you Sam and thanks for helping us get through the last four years feeling like we do have a chance to turn things around.
Terry, Spey F
back to politics taking up from last thread re hate
speech against obama from the republicans and hillaricans
to be expected and let's let them enjoy it because.........
........the swetest part of the obama presidency will be watching the fascists worms squirm and moan under their own principled "no criticism of the president will be acceptable in a time of war"
ah, that'll be fun to watch all these pigs reposition themselves and and and great fodder for utubers, croksandliers and jon stewart/colbert of course
"...I 've certainly become mediocre!"
WRONG! And you're modest, too :)
It's sure been a wild ride, though, hasn't it.
Get a rabbit hutch and raise earthworms beneath them. Worm castings are like gold.
Thanks for all you do!
(((SAM)))
Sam is what the world needs. I posted the following on the AAR site, as if it would help, keeping the faith.
If the world were fair and just, and reason ruled, Sam Seder would be the afternoon host for AAR. He could include Marc Maron and Janeane Garafalo as he (and they) saw fit. His loyalty, his past success, and his talent should give him that-it's a no-brainer. Marc Maron would also be a wonderful addition, he brings an honesty and an off the radar perspective, not to mention some great comedy. But, he is not Sam Seder, and he is not what is so deperately needed in this country right now, let alone on AAR: clear headed, unapologetic progressive analysis, entertainingly presented with humor and integrity. Bring the Sammy. And give Maron a show too. The progressivesphere would heave a sight of relief.
Regardless of what AAR does or does not do, Sam, you've made a positive difference in the world and who can ask more than that. And many of us will be watching and waiting for your next incarnation in the public square.

Congratulations Sammy!
Will always be loyal to you Sammy.
AAR is retarded in not recognizing and rewarding your efforts and outstanding achievements in both broadcasting and connecting talk radio with the blogs that have been instrumental in shaping the American progressive and political dialogue. Anyone doing so in radio today has you to thank for blazing that trail. You saw the importance of this when no one else did. It is your legacy and I would argue, yours ALONE.
Excecutives at AAR, like the Democratic Leadership, mainstream media and of course the hideous Republican party have and continue to scoff at the viability and importance of the blogs ignoring completely that we are the American citizenry. We voice our concerns and frustrations daily against the tide of xenophibia, ignorance, apathy and greed that threaten our republic.
Thanks so much for all you've done and we'll all be here awaiting your return to the ariwaves after tonight.
Outspoken is what I love about Seder

Budweiser to be Belgian?
InBev close to $50 bln financing package for Anheuser-Busch bid - report
Sun Jun 1, 2008 10:19am EDT
LONDON (Reuters) - Belgium's InBev NV is close to securing a $50 billion financing package to enable it to launch a takeover bid for Anheuser-Busch Cos Inc, maker of Budweiser beer, the Sunday Telegraph reported.
The paper said InBev, the world's second-biggest brewer, had held talks with banks JP Morgan, Santander, BNP Paribas and Merrill Lynch about a financing package.
Once it has guarantees from the banks, InBev could write a formal letter to Anheuser-Busch's board, a move expected as early as this week, the paper said, quoting market sources.
A source familiar with the situation said last week that InBev was still considering whether to bid for the U.S. brewer and had not yet begun merger talks.

**Love the Sam Seder = )
The book shows have been absolutely stellar! I'm in awe of Sam's ability to find such important & interesting work/authors - & his interviews w/ them are simply spot on.
& his integration of broadcasting w/ internet technology has been unique & exciting - not to mention he's a funny, funny guy = )
Mr. Smartypants Seder definitely belongs on the airwaves as much as possible - if AAR brass doesn't give him another program ASAP, they're kookoo = P
P.S. I am SO gonna miss hearing Jon Benjamin's spots - they always make me grin.**
& on another note - still relevant too - I've been unable to get Bill Scher's Liberal Oasis podcasts lately(I know he updated the site recently & now iTunes won't work). Thanks to Sam for introducing us to Scher & his always informative show - now I hate missing it = (
Does anyone here have an inkling about that sitch - or a link to an alt. source for LO podcast download?( I tried all the links @ LO site already, as well as re-subscribing - & I don't think it's a firewall issue)

There's an election this year. Get back on the radio pronto!

Popular Vote Question
Someone please inform me becasue I wasn't here and am a little fuzzy on this.
Did Clinton not speak out against the whole notion of the "popular vote" being viable when it was first thought that superdelegates might decide the election back a couple of months ago? Weren't people angry that superdelegates were going to nominate her and subvert the "will of the people" by ignoring that Obama had more of the popular vote?
I realize that given the caucus states, this is a non-issue, but just curious.

worm. HERE is why 5 Democrats removed their name from the ballot. To reinforce the DNC rules. They were supporting Harold's rules. Now that it is politically convenient he talks like he's not also culpable. That's despicable especially with the expressed view of Hillary herself who clearly said Michigan did not count.
Whenever a candidate changes their minds like that to manipulate a vote, especially at the end of the competition, I think of George Bush. Another worm.

Australia's Iraq Combat Operations Have Ended
SYDNEY, Australia — Australia, a staunch U.S. ally and one of the first countries to commit troops to the Iraq war five years ago, ended combat operations there Sunday, a Defense Department official said.
Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd was swept into office in November largely on the promise that he would bring home the country's 550 combat troops by the middle of 2008.
Rudd has said the Iraq deployment has made Australia more of a target for terrorism.

COLUMBIA -- Glenn McCall won a milestone intraparty election here during today's state GOP convention to become South Carolina's first black Republican National Committee member.
"It's time for the Republican Party to get out of the foxhole. We need to go on the offense," McCall said. "We need to come out and build bridges to new people. As a party, demographically, we're hurting if we don't."
McCall, a retired Air Force officer who works for Bank of America in Charlotte and lives in Rock Hill, defeated interim RNC member Drew McKissick, a Columbia public affairs consultant with ties to the party's Christian conservative wing. McCall is the York County GOP chairman, the state party's only black county chairman.
Katon Dawson, the state Republican Party chairman, said McCall's election was a "historic" one for South Carolina Republicans who have enjoyed only modest success in wooing blacks from the Democratic Party which usually gets 95 percent of their votes.
"There has been no leader in our party during my time as chairman who has been more passionate or authentic than Glenn McCall in living out the conservative ideals we hold dear," Dawson said. "I couldn't be prouder of his historic election as Republican National Committeeman from South Carolina. I look forward to serving with him."

Thanks for the great shows, Sam. Whatever happens, we'll follow your career.
Note to business types at AAR:
I have NEVER written to any radio station exec in my life...until the past few weeks. Why not? Despite being a radio junkie, no particular host has ever inspired, made me laugh or made me yell out "Yeah, that's right, damn straight," the way Sam Seder does.
Don't get me wrong. Thom is terrific, Randi was top notch (oops, probably shouldn't bring that up, never mind), and Al Franken brought me on board as a paying customer. I signed up again just a few weeks ago on the hope it would help Sam.
Did you catch that, crafty business-type capitalist person(s)? A paying customer asking: "Please, sir, I want some more. Here's me tuppence. I'd like a bit of Sammy Cam, please?"
Here's my promise: If Sam is on, the next time my subscription comes up, I'll pay more money. If he's gone, so am I, and you lose your tuppences.
Is that clear?
And I don't mean a tomcat.

Cuba
Democrats See Cuba Travel Limits as a Campaign Issue in Florida
MIAMI — Baltasar Martin Garrote desperately wants to see his mother turn 86 in August at her home in Cuba. But an American law will not let him.
Cuban-Americans can visit the island of Cuba only once every three years, so because he spent 12 days there last October, he must wait, hoping and praying that his mother, who has cancer, lives until 2010.
“It doesn’t make any sense,” Mr. Garrote said. “If you have sick relatives, you should have a right to see them. That’s not political.”
Miami being Miami, however, the policy is political and always has been. President Bush tightened the travel rules just months before the 2004 election at the behest of Cuban-American hard-liners, and this year, Democrats are trying hard to exploit growing frustration with the law’s impact.

Obama Hits McCain Again: "We Don't Need More Leaders Who Can't Admit They've Made A Mistake"
By Greg Sargent - May 31, 2008, 12:47PM
And now for some real political drama.
On the trail today in South Dakota, Barack Obama will keep up the pressure on John McCain for wrongly saying that the troop numbers in Iraq are now at "pre-surge" levels, using McCain's refusal to admit error over the gaffe as yet another way to strap him to George W. Bush. From the prepared remarks sent over by the Obama campaign:
We all misspeak sometimes. I've done it myself. So on such a basic, factual error, you'd think that Senator McCain would just admit that he made a mistake and move on. But he couldn't do that. Instead, he dug in. And the disturbing thing is that we've seen this movie before -- a leader who pursues the wrong course, who is unwilling to change course, who ignores the evidence. Now, just like George Bush, John McCain refused to admit that he made a mistake. And that's exactly the kind of leadership that we've had through more than five years of fighting a war that should've never been authorized, and should've never been waged.
We don't need more leaders who can't admit they've made a mistake, even when it's about something as fundamental as how many young Americans are serving in harm's way.

OK what I popped in for was to share a joke ......
A man and his wife were awakened at 3:00 am by a loud pounding on the door. The man gets up and goes to the door where a drunken stranger, standing in the pouring rain, is asking for a push.
"Not a chance" says the husband, "it is 3:00 in the morning!" He slams the door and returns to bed.
"Who was that?" asked his wife.
"Just some drunk guy asking for a push" he answers.
"Did you help him?" she asks.
"No, I did not. It is 3:00 in the morning and it is pouring rain out there!"
"Well, you have a short memory," says the wife. "Cant you remember about three months ago when we broke down, and those two guys helped us? I think you should help him and you should be ashamed of yourself!"
The man does as he is told, gets dressed, and goes out into the pouring rain.
He calls out into the dark, "Hello, are you still there?"
"Yes" comes back the answer.
"Do you still need a push?" calls out the husband.
"Yes, please!" comes the reply from the dark.
"Where are you?" asks the husband.
"Over here on the swing" replied the drunk.

Sam is not merely a talk show host. I've said this before. What makes Sam so great is his advocacy. He gets things done. The entire blogesphere should be hounding Green about this horrible decision. After all the prominence that they now enjoy is due to Sam.
If you recall, the Majority Report raised so much money for fighting Dem- Paul Hackett, that he asked the audience to stop. He nearly unseated mean Jean Schmidt in Ohio. Well, she won according to Diebold. Furthermore, we need Sam's analysis during this critical election. I have really missed him on radio. McClellan 'naive' to believe
McClellan 'naive' to believe Bush was 'uniter': Byron York
In his new memoir, Scott McClellan said he believed President Bush's 1999 campaign promise to bring bipartisanship to Washington and be a "uniter, not a divider."
That was "amazingly naive," Byron York told Fox's Chris Wallace.
York said, "I think the thing that distinguishes McClellan, he was amazingly naive in his belief that George W. Bush could bring us all together, which is why he comes to Washington."
Bush made promises of unity several times in his campaign. "I showed the people of Texas that I'm a uniter, not a divider," President Bush said in a May 1999 interview with Salon's David Horowitz.
He also claimed status as a uniter in a November 2000 editorial published in USA Today.
This video is from Fox's Fox News Sunday, broadcast June 1, 2008.

Special Report: A Phila. law firm wages an epic legal battle to win billions from Saudi Arabia.
By Chris Mondics
INQUIRER STAFF WRITER
Less than a mile from the mournful place in Lower Manhattan where the World Trade Center came crashing to the ground, in a hushed federal courthouse, a small band of Philadelphia lawyers is prying loose secrets of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.
It is here that the Cozen O'Connor law firm has filed an 812-page lawsuit on behalf of U.S. and global insurance companies alleging that Saudi Arabia and Saudi-backed Islamist charities nurtured and financed al-Qaeda, the author of those deadly attacks.
Led by its flinty chairman and founder, Stephen Cozen, the firm has invested thousands of hours and millions of dollars to scour the world for witnesses, documents and other evidence in its attempt to hold the oil-rich desert kingdom liable for more than $5 billion in damages.
Among the companies represented in the lawsuit are Chubb, Ace, Allstate, One Beacon, and nearly three dozen other insurers.
"Our concern was whether there was a viable case to be made against the defendant," Cozen said, "and whether the defendant could pay."
Round 1 in this titanic legal battle went to the Saudis and their high-powered lawyers three years ago when a U.S. District Court judge removed the government and Saudi royals as defendants.
Defense lawyers have declined repeated requests for interviews, citing the pending litigation. But in court papers, they describe Cozen's allegations as "fabrications" and note that the 9/11 Commission found no evidence of official Saudi involvement. Moreover, they point out that Saudi Arabia itself has been an al-Qaeda target.

Australia ends combat
Australia ends combat mission in Iraq; Iraqi govt has differences with US over security deal
SINAN SALAHEDDIN
AP News
Jun 01, 2008 10:37 EST
Australia ended its combat operations in southern Iraq on Sunday, while the Iraqi government said it has differences with the United States in negotiations over a long-term security agreement.
The official statement by government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh comes amid growing opposition to the deal among Iraqis who see it as a possible violation of Iraq's sovereignty and are worried about an extended presence of American troops.
Talks "are still in their early stages and the Iraqi side has a vision and a draft that is different" from those being presented by U.S. negotiators, al-Dabbagh said.
He was not more specific about the points but insisted the Iraqi government was focused on "fully preserving the sovereignty of Iraq ... and will not accept any article that infringes on this sovereignty and doesn't guarantee the interests of Iraqis."
The spokesman also said it was too early to discuss dates for an agreement and said each stage of negotiations would be presented to the Iraqi national security council.
His comments came two days after tens of thousands of followers of anti-U.S. cleric Muqtada al-Sadr took to the streets to protest the deal. Al-Sadr and his loyalists have called for the issue to be put to a public referendum.
U.S. officials insist they are not seeking permanent bases but have not otherwise commented on the negotiations, which the two sides hope to complete by July. The agreement is to replace a U.N. mandate for U.S.-led forces that expires at the end of the year.

Chicago priest apologizes, says episode has been 'painful,' generated angry e-mail
Staff
AP News
Jun 01, 2008 12:02 EST
The Chicago priest whose comments about Hillary Rodham Clinton reignited the controversy over Barack Obama's former church has apologized to his parishioners.
At his own church Sunday, the Rev. Michael Pfleger said he isn't racist or sexist. He said the past few days have been the most painful of his life.
Pleger said he's received more than 3,000 angry and threatening e-mails since he was a guest preacher at Trinity United Church of Christ last Sunday. During that sermon, Pfleger, a Catholic priest, pretended he was Clinton crying over "a black man stealing my show."
In the apology, Pfleger said the sermon included theatrics he often uses while preaching.

Yes, there is little doubt- If I remember Dusty Springfield, I are very old..
More seriously, I do believe in miracles. I have to. I root for the Mets. And for many of these same reasons, Air America has the talent "in situ" to still make great progressive radio, in the persons of Sam Seder and Marc Maron.
Ultimately, these two could make inroads into the progressive talk radio market. They certainly could compete with Randi. But I don't think the head sheds at AAR are much interested in filling this time slot with the native talent anymore. Tis a shame!!!
Good Luck and Godspeed Sammy.. I am following your "Meteoric Rise" and will be listening.

Yesterday's DNC Ruling
Okay... i remember yesterday hearing about a clinton supporter who said that if FL & MI delegates were NOT FULLY seated that she would vote republican this year.
This statement is flawed in numerous ways, but what I would have liked to hear the reporter tell the lady and get her response, is that the RNC already penalized FL, MI & SC with 1/2 vote status for moving their primaries up... but the RNC didn't have any debates or meetings....
So what why would she vote (R) when they did the same thing!

vanity fair article about Bills wreckless behavior(long)
The Office of President Bill Clinton responded with fury Sunday to a Vanity Fair article that attacks the former president and suggests he is out of control personally and consumed by “cavernous narcissism.”
The article, which hits newsstands next week, was distributed to the media and online in advance of its publication. The author, Todd Purdum, has covered Clinton for 16 years. He is married to former Clinton Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers.
“A tawdry, anonymous quote-filled attack piece, published in this month’s Vanity Fair magazine regarding former President Bill Clinton repeats many past attacks on him, ignores much prior positive coverage, includes numerous errors, and ultimately breaks no new ground. It is, in short, journalism of personal destruction at its worst,” reads a statement from the office of the president.
“Though (Purdum) researched the piece for several months, his first contact with President Clinton’s office was several weeks before he closed the story. Most revealing is one simple fact: President Clinton has helped save the lives of 1,300,000 people in his post-presidency, and Vanity Fair couldn’t find time to talk to even one of them for comment,” the statement continues, along with several pages of argument refuting the article’s main points.
Purdum suggests that in the years since Clinton left the White House $12 million in debt, he has been caught up in a world of rich friends, adoring fans and borrowed jets. The article quotes one former aide calling Clinton’s current associates like billionaire Ron Burkle and movie producer Stephen Bing “radioactive.”
The aide says Clinton’s associates are compounding worries that the 61-year-old former president is running with a fast crowd
One source close to Clinton even suggested he has never been the same since quadruple bypass surgery in 2004.
“There’s an anger in him that I find surprising. There seems to be an abiding anger in him, and not just the summer thunderstorms of old. He has been called into question repeatedly by top staff,” a former aide to both Bill and Hillary Clinton told Purdum.
More devastating is Purdum’s claim that about 18 months ago, a former Clinton aide tried an intervention with the former president because he was hearing so many complaints about inappropriate behavior. According to the article, the aide believed “Clinton was apparently seeing a lot of women on the road.”
Purdum wrote that the aide was rebuffed by advisers close to Clinton, never got to speak directly with him, and the attempted intervention was not well received by either Clinton.
The article also includes questions about the millions Bill Clinton has made since leaving office and notes the troubles for Hillary Clinton’s campaign attributed to him.

Iran Warns it May Limit Cooperation With U.N.
TEHRAN, Iran — Iran warned Sunday it may limit cooperation with the U.N. nuclear watchdog, expressing disappointment over the agency's recent report that was critical of Tehran.
The International Atomic Energy Agency, in a report to the U.N. Security Council last week, suggested Iran was stonewalling investigators and possibly withholding information crucial to determining whether it conducted research on nuclear weapons.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini said Sunday the IAEA "could present a better report," adding Iran may have to set "new limits" on its cooperation with the agency.
Iran's newly elected parliament speaker Ali Larijani made a similar threat on Wednesday. Parliament on Sunday elected Larijani, formerly the country's top nuclear negotiator, to the powerful post of speaker for a year.

The Sergeant, inspecting the scene, picks up the White Sox cap, and puts it back down. He picks up the Red Sox cap, and puts it back down. He picks up the Yankees cap, puts it back down, picks it up again and stares. The Red Sox fan asks: "Whadayou? Some kind of pervert?" The cop replies: "No. This is the first time I've seen a Yankees cap on anything but an asshole."

Peru
Unburying the Evidence of Biggest ‘Dirty War’ Massacre
It was not hard to find the remains of the victims, some of whose bones were actually exposed to the elements. But it took 24 years for the people of the highlands village of Putis in southern Peru to get a response to their insistent requests for exhumation and identification of the remains.
In 1984, 125 men, women and children were shot to death by army troops after being tricked into digging their own mass grave.
The biggest single massacre of civilians in Peru’s 1980-2000 civil war is just now coming to light, thanks to the unflagging efforts of the victims’ families.
Since May 17, 60 bodies have been found, including those of 10 children between the ages of six and 10.
...
...the military ordered all of the men, at gunpoint, to dig a large ditch; some were told it was for building a fish farm, to raise trout, while others were told that houses would be built there."
"When the supposed fishpond was ready, the troops brought together the roughly 100 villagers around the pit, including men, women and children, and without further explanation, shot them to death," it adds.

Iraq cites problems with US
Iraq cites problems with US security pact By ROBERT H. REID, Associated Press Writer
2 hours, 5 minutes ago
Iraq's chief spokesman acknowledged differences with the United States over a proposed long-term security agreement and pledged on Sunday that the government will protect Iraqi sovereignty in ongoing talks with the Americans.
Australia became the latest member of the U.S.-led coalition to pull combat soldiers from Iraq, fulfilling an election promise that helped sweep Prime Minister Kevin Rudd to power in November.
Opposition has been growing in Iraq to the proposed security pact with the U.S., which will replace the current U.N. mandate and could provide for a long-term American military role in this country.
Much of the opposition comes from anti-American Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr, but statements critical of the deal have also been issued by mainstream Sunni and Shiite figures who fear it will undermine Iraqi sovereignty.
Chief government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said the Iraqi negotiators have a "vision and a draft that is different" from the Americans but that the talks, which began in March, were still in an early stage.
"There is great emphasis by the Iraqi government on fully preserving the sovereignty of Iraq in its lands, skies, waters and its internal and external relations," al-Dabbagh said. "The Iraqi government will not accept any article that infringes on sovereignty and does not guarantee Iraqi interests."
U.S. officials have refused to comment on the talks until they are complete but have insisted they are not seeking permanent bases. The agreement is to replace a U.N. mandate for U.S.-led forces that expires at the end of the year.
President Bush and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said they were hoping to finish the negotiations by July to allow time for the Iraqi parliament to sign off on the deal.
But Iraqi officials said last month that talks were unlikely to wrap up by July because of wide differences over several issues, including immunity enjoyed by U.S. troops from prosecution in Iraqi courts and rules governing U.S. military operations.
In recent weeks, Iraqi forces have taken the lead in operations against Al-Qaida in Iraq and other Sunni militants in the northern city of Mosul and against Shiite militias in southern Basra and in the Shiite district of Sadr City in Baghdad.
But the government appears to be following a policy of negotiating with militants — a strategy that calmed the situation in the three cities but probably enabled some hardliners to slip away to fight another day.
During a press conference Sunday, Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, a Kurd, spoke out in favor of the U.S.-Iraq security agreement, saying Iraq's forces still needed the support of the U.S.-led coalition.
"Our forces and capabilities haven't reached the level of self-sufficiency," Zebari said at a joint news conference with visiting French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner. "We need this strategic security agreement ... for the time being. But this is not open-ended."

I'm sick and tired of AAR treating you like poopie. You are a good host and you think fast on your butt (seated) and promote the brand of politics I like to hear. AAR keeps doing you, and you keep waiting around for more. Mike Malloy was calling for you a few months ago, when Randi went over to NovaM.
Don't you get tired of being an office boy at AAR?
I hope there is hope
I'm not giving up yet. You are just about the best there is on radio. I hope that you will be resurrected on AAR, although it seems like nearly every program change they make is worse than what it replaces.
I'll follow you wherever you go, as I have Randy and Mike.
Perhaps XM 167 will carry your show, at least. I wouldn't miss Lionel at all, for example.
Be well and Prosper.
I've given up on AAR too
Other than Ring of Fire I don't listen to Air America since Randi left. Most of their "afternoon guests" are unlistenable unless it's Sam or Marc. It seems like their web stream is never working during Laura Flanders on sundays. Nothing much else there worth listening to. (yeah Hartmann but my local station tape delays him and runs it opposite Malloy) Sam please go somewhere you'll be appreciated!
There's a hole in my Internet ...
