Many ridiculous so-called scandals were thrown his way, some of them from the Clinton camp. He swatted them down with relative ease and class. They tried to stir up nasty racist tendencies by wrongly claiming Obama's a closeted Muslim. He's not. They made fun of his name, even shouting that his middle name is "Hussein." Obama refused to hide it, in fact he embraced it, taking great pride in being named after his father. The man's got steel balls, I tell ya!

Apparently he has a lot at stake in this race to try and get her fired.

So thats the way things work - its busy and noisy and 98% of the time a nice friendly group when everyone agrees to let everyone have their own opinion and respect others equally. When that doesn't happen, things can get testy...but that also happens in life in general.

mine will work on both. Do you have firefox? That should pull up media player correctly. It's standard code put out by microsoft but they have to patch so often it sometimes reverts to Quicktime.

fernando, what are your thoughts about my thoughts on the sammy cam and maron v seder. do you see it as a problem. randi might have even watched marc's rants about hillary before writing her material for the sf show.

I've been expecting that. They have squashed their talent. So far Rachel was able to move to another distributor. Malloy made a good move.

Today Seder said that if you are offended by criticism just wait till what happens when a democrat is in the White House.

I really think Obama supporters are crazy-actually certifiable. Its expected that republicans will attack Hillary. Thats what they do.

The fact that democrats attack her, using and thereby validating the exact same attacks that republicans use, is sickening. The fact that they use the same lies is just too much-its not forgivable.

Its one thing to make a valid criticism. Hillary was mistaken to trust Bush and give him authorization on the war. In my mind her guilt over this will force her to withdraw troops faster than any other candidate so I forgive her mistake but others may legitimately not.

It another thing to ascribe evil motives to every f*cking move she makes. To me thats the mind set of the pathetic Obama supporters you see walking down the street with their pins and a smug attitude that they are great civil rights heroes for wearing one-such lame weak winded jokes. But still within the pale.

But it is unforgivable to line up with the republicans and tell the same lies they do and do so with the same malicious ill will to destroy Hillary or to knowingly tell lies to protect your candidate Obama-both of which acts toothless Randi has done.

As far as I am concerned you Obama AAR people are going to get what you deserve. If AAR has not told her when she can come back yet Randi is history.They are just investigating what to do about her. And one by one all the rest of you are going to have your careers trashed.

Most people when coming into a new environment take a little while to get the lay of the land - same thing and IMHO even moreso when it comes to the world of blogs or even Message boards. You need to learn for yourself whats what and whether or not its a place where you feel comfortable before you expend time and energy otherwise you end up with at the least, wasted time and at the worst - we won't even go to the worst, but in the middle of the bad side of things you can get your feelings hurt which while those feelings are unfortunate and valid, could have been avoided IF you had taken the time to see if that "space" was right for you to begin with.

The 2,400-member tribe was not collecting state taxes on cigarettes at the shop on its land in Charlestown. It opened the shop in July 2003 as a challenge to state authority over tribal land after lawmakers ignored the economically depressed tribe's proposal to build a casino.

A 1978 treaty subjects tribal land to state law, including tax provisions and a ban on casinos.

On July 14, 2003, two days after the shop opened, state troopers arrived with a warrant to shut the shop down. State police assembled about 50 officers for the raid and violence broke out as state officers ran into the shop's parking lot. Police ignored demands from tribal police and Narragansett leaders to stop and show their search warrant.

Normal Welcoming atmosphere of this blog - well, we all have to remember 2 things.

1. The majority of us are here for the same reason and want what we think is best for our country - whatever that opinion may be- and that we all agree that we would defend each other's right to express that opinion because it is what one of the key pillars of the founding of our nation is based on.

2. That those who do not agree with the above, and purposefully write in a manner that is only to stir the pot so that it will not only spoil but spill the soup are also guaranteed those rights, altho we do not have to like them or respect them as individuals because they have acted in a manner that does not earn them respect. I do not say this as a liscense to flame anyone, but as a means to put into words what many of us experience...and why SPIT-TING is better than feeding.

But some dim witted anchor was interviewing John Conyers, via satellite, as he was seated in front of the Lorraine Motel, now a museum. And, in her happy talk voice she was telling Conyers that McCain has apologized for voting against the bill for MLK's federal holiday in 1983. Conyers said well I guess I should be thrilled that now that he is running for president that he is apologizing.

The air-head anchor said, well he HAS apologized, maybe you will take that as some sort of appeasement.

I needed some critter food and a few other necessities.
The sticker shock hit me and I almost had a panic attack.
Cat and dog food prices have doubled. (I blame grain prices and transportation) Coffee is up by at least a third. (I could not survive without caffeine) Bread is up by $1.00 a loaf. (wheat prices have skyrocketed)

My normal $60 in groceries turned into $127.

Meat was very reasonable compared to the other things. I guess my dog could get used to ground round, if he has too.

My only criticism for Rachel tonight was I thought, at times, she may have been a tad over dramatic with the head bobbing, but her willingness to offer her opinion multiple times rocked me right out of the La-Z-Boy.

She's a consummate broadcaster. I think it will take her only 5 guest spots doing a whole show to get her chops.

Compared to the Fox News bimbos, Rachel could have sat in that chair and farted the whole time and delivered better content that those whores on FauxSnooze or CNN imho.

If she would have sat a bit stiller and stared down the barrel of the lens, she would have nailed it. Just wait till her next shot.

Henry Ford dreamed that someday automobiles would be grown from the soil. In 1941 the Ford motor company produced an experimental automobile with a plastic body composed of 70% cellulose fibers from hemp.

The car body could absorb blows 10 times as great as steel without denting. The car was designed to run on hemp fuel. Because of the ban on both hemp and alcohol the car was never mass produced.

I have a feral cat named Ella. We hardly see her during the summer. My poodle Murphy loves to chase her. We also have Bodhi, a golden retriever. I'm the poodle mama. Lost my cat Doolie this year He was 23. He had a good life....I was always a cat person until I discovered small dogs...now I am a nut for Murphy....

Same thing happens to me. I am also on prescription
drugs,,,depression & anxiety :(

Searching for words, then 5 minutes later, the word would pop in my head.

I blame prescription drugs though. I was nothing but a lab rat.

Comments to add to the discussion: Not too much.

But in regards to the beef and mad cow issue: I was living in London when England was going thru its first round of discoveries and findings. So, for me, if there is damage of some kind - it has already been done.
AND as far as the gov't is concerned they did take action about 6 months after I got back home permanently by making it illegal for anyone who lived in England or other location where Mad Cow had been confirmed before such and such date, was probibited from donating blood....to protect the blood supply....Smart move.

Dinner made me sleepy so I don't remember much of what else I just tried to speed read thru.

I’ve been a AAR fan boy right from the beginning. We had an AAR AM station for a while here in Atlanta and I was in hog heaven. When that died I simply streamed AAR. Through all of these years I’ve ignored the rumblings in the background about management. I’ve seen good friends go, Mike, Janeane, Marc, Mark, and Don. Heck even Jerry is better than the dribble in that time slot today. Despite all of this I have been a believer. Not anymore.

Rachel will soon get her well deserved TV gig and Randi probably will shortly be off on her own doing well in syndication. Which will leave the station with little (sorry Thom) talent. All because of lack of support for the stations on air talent and piss poor management. Right now I could care less about AAR and frankly hope it fails so something better will come along and take its place.

Sam please take care of yourself and abandon the sinking ship. Shortly you will be all the real on air talent they will have left. I look forward to hearing you on the Jones Networks where I’ve been finding myself spending most of my streaming time lately.
