Contempt Citations
The House Judiciary Committee meets to consider contempt citations against Fmr. WH Counsel Harriet Miers & WH Chief of Staff Joshua Bolton. Both have failed to comply with subpoenas issued by the committee, and Miers refused to appear at a scheduled July 12 hearing. Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) chairs the markup.
