One election at a time...
I just talked to Obama's office
his nice helper said he supports and co-sponsors Dodd's amendment. By not voting today he is supporting the filibuster by not making 60 votes possible.
He considers his non vote support.
I told her that was nice to hear but he has effectively done nothing to help so if he wants my campaign contirbutions he needs to actually talk on the Senate floor. Made Obama the same deal as Dodd. If they act on my behalf they get paid. (albeit a only quarter a minute because my yard guy works harder for about that much).

these companies have very well paid large legal staffs. they know whats legal and illegal and this push for immunity is nonsense.

Why isn't Dodd doing better in the polls?
With someone like Dodd available, why do we bother excusing Hillary's bad judgement and worrying about whether Obama has experience? Why does Dodd stay down in the low single digits?
Of course, I can ask the same question about Biden, Kucinich, and Richardson.?
