It took me a while to get a clean copy. I didn't want to post something that I had messed up so this did take too long. I apologize.
I heard this interaction probably 6 or 7 times. As I've said, I am not familiar with Marc. After hearing this repeatedly, I was somewhat surprised at Marc's insistence on the value of "organic" humans. To that I say bravo Marc. Sam is his typical informative and humble self. Good detail on some of the behind the scenes stuff going on in Congress too.
It's hard to broadcast a whole bunch of music w/o copyright infringements so (and this is just an unsolicited suggestion), why don't some of you artists (I'm talking to you SJ) record some music and send it to Sam. I don't know that he would use it, but I'd like to hear your music and I bet others would too.
MMRules, consider a simple Radio Shack omni directional mic and stand, a .25" to microplug adapter and Nero to record your tracks. A good mic is just $50. Just plug it into your computer mic input jack. I've done that before for a friend and it worked out fine.
It only needs to be a minute or two pieces to serve as an intro. If you do record something that is copyright free, and want a simple way to post it, just send it to me at rancholaluna@bluebottle.com. I will store it and make it available for others to listen.

Weird stuff with the mp3 file
Hey, Fernando....
The file plays on my PC just fine, but when I copy it to my Zen Sleek it plays V...E...R...Y......S...L...O...W...L...Y. And if I burn it to a CD, my Bose won't play it at all (and it will usually play MP3 CDs. Any ideas?

I found out a lot about splash cast. They ONLY take mp3 formats. But not efficient mp3 standard models. Hold on... I'll post a more efficient copy for using on portables. That one is a pig anyway, but it was the only way to get splashcast to read it. I added a link with a different format of the file. Give it a try, it works on my Sansa player. Lemme know if there is a problem. I'm looking for settings that work for everyone.

Really, not familiar with Marc? Never listened to Morning Sedition? That along with MR, Mike Malloy, and Rachel's original show were my favorite shows on AAR, and, (of course) they all got canceled. Oh, well.....
I'm really, really tired......
I don't know how to take the audio link to "Brilliant at Breakfast" and magically get the mp3 onto my ipod. I'm sorry, I have two small children and I can't get the dishes loaded into the dishwasher let alone spend hours analyzing mp3 techno cryptic mumbo jumbo. Green means go, red means stop--I don't have time for any higher level of complexity. I appreciate all your efforts, I really do, and I have confidence that you will work out all the kinks with such proficience that even total dumbasses can get on board.
