How Ghouliani Can Easily Win In 2008

It's based on Al Gore's new book "The Attack On Reason" and Dr. Robert Altemeyer's must read, on-line, non-fiction, book "The Authoritarians" that John Dean based his latest book, "Conservatives Without Conscience" on:
.....

Here are the pieces of the jig-saw puzzle:

1. One third of the electorate will always vote Authoritarian, that's a hard, fast, cardinal rule.

2  Two thirds of all people can't do what you and I do, which is think abstractly. Average IQ of the US, population, by definition, is 100 IQ points

3. Most people don't vote, turnout was 40% in 2006, 60% in 2004

4. People, in general, are too distracted to pay attention to matters directly concerning them

5. The Public Schools have been decimated, starting under Reagan, with Busch finishing the job, with an assist from the Evangelicals

6. The bulk of the monies raised for the General Election will be spent on 30 second negative attack ads in October 2008.

7. Nothing of substance will be discussed during this Election Cycle, it will all be trivial stories and sound bites

8. Corporate Media has *zero* obligation or responsibility to report the "news".By law, and statute, the *only* responsibility they have is to generate profits for their shareholders

9. Corporate Media is driven by ratings which means they will tailor their content to the greatest number of people, which is the 2/3rds that can not think abstractly.

In narrative form, the story goes like this....

"Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American Public."

It's a given that between 30-35% of all voters will by default vote for the most Authoritarian candidate, no matter who he is, (Evangelicals can make all the noise they want about Ghouliani, but on Election Day they will hold their noses and vote for him, this is why the Father Ted Haggard bust last year was more important and significant than the Mark Foley case), so to game the present system and get to a 50.0001% majority, of the popular vote, (Herr Busch won by 50.7% in 2004), you only need to focus on winning between around 15 to 20 + % of the popular vote.

Add into the mix our Electoral College system, and you don't even need to win the popular vote, which is why 'Battle Ground' States like FL and OH come into play, as they have in the last two Presidential Elections.

Most people, two thirds of them, by default, aren't capable of abstract thinking.

Amplify that weakness by teaching, say Creationism, in the schools, and you destroy among the populace what little remaining ability there is to think critically.

The 60%, at most, of eligible voters, that will vote in 2008, the two thirds of them that can not think critically will be most susceptible to the billion plus dollars of attack ads that will run on Corporate Media TV in October of 2008.

These ads will sway about 10 to 12% of these voters to vote Republican.

To make up the difference, cage a few votes in places like OH and FL, rig a few machines, and use some other under-handed tactics, and that puts you right over the top, again, just like it did in 2004.

Howard Dean's 50 State Strategy is awesome, but Corporate Media has a much bigger, trillion dollar, mega-phone than any grassroots, on the ground, organization can hope to have.

How many TV satellites does  Rupert Murdoch's Fox News have at its disposal?

How many does the Democratic National Committee?

The bulk of the 2008 Multi-Billion War Chest is going to be spent on Attack Ads On TV in October of 2008 and it's going to drown out a *lot* of Dean's work.

Grim enough for you?

This is the strategy Karl Rove has been using quite successfully...

Response

You neglected to add the propaganda by corporate interests who want a Republican, because they fear that the Democrats might raise expectations.

Anyway, you rely on notions that the majority, unlike you, just don't get it, and never will. Do you ever think that people vote Republican because they sense that the Democrats will entice them with benefits, but will ultimately fail to deliver?

Huh?

The 25-Hour Mom

The Average IQ of the US is 100 IQ points? I didn't think it was THAT high.

Here's a question: Why hasn't Julie Annie been done in by the cross dressing and the lisp yet? If there was a (D) behind his name we'd be fishing him out of the sewer by now.

If the dems would only invoke something on religion!!!

If the dems would only turn to some religion, quote some biblical scriptures, they could run the neo's out of town.

Bush claims to be a christian, but anyone with a bit of knowlegde of the scriptures, should easily be able to detect that Bush is no christian, probably never has been, and those that follow him and them, thinking that they are christians are doomed.

Bush and them drummed up this unjust war in Iraq, the facts bear that out. That fact alone should be enough to turn anyone thinking of voting for another republican in 08.

We have now lost nearly 3700 of our young men and women, to the tune of billions already spent on the war, and they are now bribing our young soldiers and marines to the tune of $20,000-$50,000 to re-enlist with certain restrictions, to stay in the armed services.

Air Force personnel are being assigned to combat areas and several have lost their lives as a result of being in combat areas.

Combat was not the mission of air force ground personnel, but it has gotten to the point that this Bush administration can do what it wants, and can always get just enough to go along with it, to get it done it seems, right or wrong, and they will justify it somehow.

My fellow americans, this is wrong, the war in Iraq was wrong to start, and I am afraid that God is not pleased in what the democrats and the rest are allowing Bush and them to get away with, without taking a very strong stand.

Bush says he was led of The Lord to invade Iraq. Well the bible tells us, I John 4:1, "Beloved believe not every spirit, but try the spirits; whether they be of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

Then God tells us again, Matthew 15:8, "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lip; but their heart is far from me." THIS IS NOT HARD TO SEE.

Their desire is to instill so much fear in us voters, that no matter how badly things has gone in Iraq, the neo's will be voted in again. Well my fellow americans, there is no way that good will come from the war in Iraq, because it was started based on all lies.

God would have gotten rid of Sadaam Hussein in His own way, and in His own time, but Bush sought out to take God's place. Take a look at Cuba, God is taking Castro down the way He wants to, and He would have done the same from Iraq, in the removal of Sadaam Hussein, and we would not have lost all of the young men and women that we have, and squandered our treasury.

I suppose that by now, you have heard of the '94 interview where Cheney was explaining why it would not have been wise for the U.S. to have continued on into Iraq, when they drove Sadaam's troops out of Kuwait.

Bush's intentions are to kill off all of the terrorists, but God says, Ezekiel 33:11, "Say unto them, As I live, saith The Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live:turn ye, from your evil ways, for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

And to their fear tactics, they're more afraid of the terrorists, than of God Almighty;

Isaiah 57:11, "And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered Me, nor laid it to thy heart? Have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?

God is saying here, how dare you go out and start a war of this magnitude, ignoring my warnings, and cause all of the death and destruction you have caused, and lie and say that I told you to go out and start the war.

Galatians 6:7, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

So my fellow americans, The Word of God is true, and it will come to pass. So the best thing for the dems and all other straitht thinks americans can do, is to unite and move forward with all that is within us to get this wicked corrupt administration out of office, and say never again.

Just how much longer do we think this nation can last, allowing Bush and them to continue spending over $200 million dollars per day, $9 billion dollars a month, when that money is badly needed here at home?

And to their fear tactics, remember II Timothy 1:6, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and a sould mind."

Now that scripture sums up it all, and should already be guiding us towards whom we should vote for come Nov 08.

Please take heed, God's Word is real, and it will come to pass.

Over & Out,

Tyree, Hillside, IL., U.S. Air Force Vet

P.S. Do you realize, that if the 3700 flag-draped caskets from Iraq were lined up end to end, there would be a line of caskets stretching for six (6) miles or so. This is a shame, and the youngs lives are gone forever.
