Vote Seder!

mediabistro poll #1

mediabistro poll #2

Post your links to all things Seder here to help make promos for his run for the 10pm MSNBC slot! Maybe with enough clips here Sammy and crew can take from them and use their wizardry to make promo vids for him. Post any homemade vids to YouTube too to increase exposure!

Post any audio and video clips, as well, and if you can remember any specific ass-kicking segment from any of Seder's shows, describe them here and maybe one of us can find it and excerpt it. I will look for the best way to upload and embed mp3 clips and update this info here, as well.

Here's the last time I remember him being on Olbermann.

Why McCain Hates Obama

I dunno how many here read about that ugly and awkward moment when Obama went up to McCain on the Senate floor yesterday, but there are a lot of people talking about how McSame seems to have lost an ability which is a requisite for all politicians, which is to maintain friendliness and decorum despite the obvious and often profound differences in ideology.

There are many many reasons at this point why even the sight of Obama would start McSame to grinding his teeth, and of course, one can always ponder the significance of race, age and that McCain is losing handily and in states in which he assumed were easily in the bag.

My feeling, however, is that there is one inescapable decision Obama made that is at the root of Mccain's intense hatred: Obama's opting out of the presidential public financing system.

McCain is saddled with a ceiling as to how much he can spend, Obama is not AND in every possible way, even to the chagrin of a lot of Liberals. Obama played that masterfully and EVERYTHING about that decision has worked in Obama's favor. He has an immense war chest, a HUGE ground game, an ad machine and held off giving the OK to 527s until he had convinced the country he was not a negative campaigner.

McCain's own incredibly dishonest scheme of
"championing" public financing laws only to exploit every possible loophole in them, has completely come back to bite him in the ass and has virtually tied his hands at this point. Obama saw this coming from miles away and stayed far away from the trap Mccain had set for him.

Now, all mcCain can do is pray for a miracle.

This is the exact position Hillary was in in the final weeks of the primaries: helpless and praying that Obama fucks up.

Okay SEDER

The trolls have finally contributed something worthwhile. I propose that you change the "Anonymous" nick to "Conservapedophile" Puuuuuuurrrrrrrrtttyyy pllleeeeeeeaaaaaaase!

Conyers Will Impeach

I guess Conyers, et al. are holding hearings about the commutation.

I have one clear message for them and it is a quote from Gerald fucking Ford, of all people.

"What, then, is an impeachable offense? The only honest answer is that an impeachable offense is whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history."

I think articles of impeachment are imminent because BushCheney just threw down the gauntlet for real and if some of the Dems balk here, I say let 'em; they'll come around when the public rallies behind the Judiciary committee, and they will. We'll get right down to brass fucking tacks about exactly where loyalties really lie with a good ol' fashioned impeachment proceeding. It is time for the House to assert the power IT has and shove all of this executive privilege fancy talk right down the throats with a little Legislative privilege.

McCain, Rove, Thompson: Trifecta!

It looks like poor John McCain, after having jammed his head up Bush's Rove's ass for the better part of two years, now, is being thrown out with the asswater.

The USA Rove plant Tim Griffin is interviewing for the job of Fred Thompson's campaign manager, so it looks like the Rove election fraud machine just started out on the path to endorse Thompson.

Operation Terror Forever

The Ghosts of Incompetence past:

1. Allowing the looting of Baghdad.

2. Firing 37 Arabic-speaking translators at the outset of the Iraq occupation because they were gay.

3. Scattering tens of thousands of pissed off Bath Party loyalists and militants, billions of dollars and tons of weapons caches to the four winds.

4. Implementing a torture program in a fomrer Iraqi torture stronghold.

5. Fomenting terrorism with a gargantuan military presence in the Middle East.

The Ghosts of Incompetence Present:

U.S. Government Gave Airtime to Terrorists, Official Admits

"Al Hurra television, the U.S. government's $63 million-a-year effort at public diplomacy broadcasting in the Middle East, is run by executives and officials who cannot speak Arabic, according to a senior official who oversees the program.

That might explain why critics say the service has recently been caught broadcasting terrorist messages, including an hour-long tirade on the importance of anti-Jewish violence, among other questionable pieces."

The Ghosts of Incompetence Future:

New embassy in Iraq to be largest ever

"The new U.S. Embassy in Baghdad will be the world's largest and most expensive foreign mission, though it may not be large enough or secure enough to cope with the chaos in Iraq.

The Bush administration designed the 104-acre compound -- set to open in September in what today is a war zone -- to be an ultra-secure enclave. Yet it also hoped that downtown Baghdad would cease being a battleground when diplomats moved in.

Viewing All Comments Under Mark Green's Post

Yes, whether deliberately or via the sheer ineptitude that has seemingly gone airborne at AAR, multi-page viewing of blog comments has been "moderated" over at the shiny, candy-like 2.0 site under Mark Green's regurgitated post on AAR 2.0 AAR 2.0 2.0.

As common sense would dictate, regurgitation almost always provokes nausea and revulsion and people aren't holding back on that board. Thank jamieob256 for this little workaround I thought I'd pass on here.

Adjust the final number to accomodate new posts. 724 as of this writing. These precious cornholios can't even manage the courtesy to promote Sammy's show on the day of its launch, so, please, let the revulsion continue to flow.

Moore Draws (misguided) Missiles, via Cuba

Methinks the wingtnuts are going to lose the battle when the question rolls around as to what exactly defines a journalist, but, hell, I say lettem do it. As the viagra of the last six years continues to wear off, the more they scream about liberal bias the more attention they'll draw to their factual impotence. How could THAT hurt? Let's see...

Drudge darling and bt: Brain Terminal conservative blogger Evan Coyne Maloney has long been lamenting the success of Michael Moore and liberal bias in documentary filmmaking (duh!), and now finally has his own film, awkward-title-and-all, called "Indoctrinate U." It's a rootsy li'l David and Goliath epic about how the conservative pea brain has to deal with the whitewashed yet somehow still alabaster halls of higher learning and the exhausting emotional baggage caused by empirical wisdom.

Meanwhile, Coyne's unlikely mentor Michael Moore faces a Federal investigation and a barrage of conservative missiles for having gone to Cuba to shoot scenes for his upcoming documentary film "Sicko."

"The recent Treasury Department inquiry asked Moore for proof that he works for a "news-gathering organization" and for information about who went with him....Several right-wing commentators, including Glenn Beck and John Gibson, have argued that Michael Moore should not be considered a journalist.
