Sam, Please Read (then delete)

The New AAR web site looks great! But of course, doesn't work.

This New site is quite a ways of being Ready For Prime Time. It is going to take weeks to months to get to that point.

So step back, reload the old site ASAP so that LISTENERS can HEAR AAR and get files of shows that have been missed. The old site was working very well; at least you have this to fall back to.

Then load the new site to a beta address and let those who have the time/patience try it out. Run in Beta for a few weeks, finish the help files, etc. Make sure you include all the old content and files. Continue to support the file types you have always provided. Make sure you have plenty of bandwidth, good servers, good backup, etc.

Listen to the Beta users comments, and get everything fixed. And Test, Test, Test! When you are sure you are ready to go live, go back and do another week of Testing. If you can, gradually migrate users to the new site (use a few exciting offers to get more users to the Beta Site).

Only then relaunch it live as the AAR main site.

Otherwise, you are just contributing to the anger and frustration of your paid members (as well as casual visitors.

I'm really sorry for you that things went this poorly with the revision. I've been there myself, and know exactly how you feel. I wish I could help you more than this. But I'm confident this is what needs to be dons, and the sooner the better! It's a tough decision to make, but you'll feel better afterwards, and so will all the AAR users! Plus, users will appreciate the new site even more when it is properly released!

Thanks Sam, and Good Luck!

Randi Rhodes Show for Fri. Feb 29 - NO ARCHIVE FILE available on AAR

AAR has not made this show available in the archives. I missed it and want to listen before Sam's Sunday Show! SO much for paying AAR for premium membership!

Sam did such a great job this week filling in for Randi, I hope that AAR wakes up and gives him a daily show slot back. Hope that everyone heard CLOUT last Friday, when asked for ways to improve AAR, the FIRST TWO callers wanted MORE SAM SEDER !
